Smith, proposes to build a 6-story mixed-use building on approximately 55,883 square feet of land on the site currently occupied by several retail businesses including the Rappahannock Coffee and a surface parking lot. The proposal would include approximately 105 new residential units, 12,997 square feet of ground floor retail and two levels of below-grade parking containing approximately 140 parking spaces. The development will also preserve the historic facades of the two existing buildings by incorporating them into the new building.
